611612 M1 J21-22 NB & SB Enderby to Markfield Pavement Scheme

Work is due to start Monday 16 January 2023 and is scheduled for completion by 17 November 2023. To keep our programme for these works as short as possible and to minimise disruption to the local community, residents, businesses and road users, we will work under full carriageway closures between 22:00 and 05:00, Monday to Friday.

The works are to be delivered in four phases, the outline dates are:

Phase One: Northbound M1 Junction 21-21A

16 January until 19 March 2023

Phase Two: Northbound M1 Junction 21A-22

20 March until 19 June 2023

Phase Three:

Southbound M1 Junction 22-21A

20 June until 19 September 2023

Phase Four:

Southbound M1 Junction 21A-J22

20 September until 17 November 2023

During these closures fully signed diversion routes will be in place, which have been agreed with the Local Authority. We will make sure that access to businesses and residences is maintained wherever possible. 

We apologise for any inconvenience caused and will do our very best to complete the work as quickly as possible, keeping disturbances and noise to a minimum. Please note that all our planned roadworks may be subject to change due to weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances.
