The Market Bosworth Beat team have been busy this afternoon/evening/morning to try and carry out as much pro active work as possible.
However most of the time its not often easy due to the amount of incidents we have attended throughout our shift.
We did manage to cover the majority of villages on the beat in the end, hopefully you saw us out and about 
Incidents attended included:
Assisting the RAC with a broken down vehicle on the A50.
Completing welfare checks on an elderly male in Newbold Verdon.
Attending and assisting EMAS with a road traffic collision in Wellsborough, thankfully the occupant of the vehicle had no serious injuries. We also returned the vehicle owners dog to a safe location so the driver could be checked over at the hospital, Lucy the dog was taken back safe and sound.

A section 59 was issued to a female on a scooter (any further incidents will result in the scooter or any other vehicle driven by the keeper to be seized).
Vehicle obstruction dealt with in Botcheston.
Foot patrols in Bagworth and Markfield.
Vehicle seized for driving with No insurance and ticket given.
Driver ticketed for driving with no lights in the dark 
Driver ticketed for running a red light 
Words of advice given to a gentleman causing antisocial behaviour to local residents. Written warning given.
Visit and words of advice given to a perpetrator in an ongoing neighbour dispute.
