Two men have each been charged with burgling or attempting to burgle nine homes, following an investigation by Leicestershire Police.
The men, aged 26 and 31, were accused of burglary at homes in:
Milton Street, Narborough, on May 20;
Moores Lane, Enderby, on May 20
Ratby Road, Groby, on May 20;
Station Road, Desford, on May 20;
Beaufort Court, West Bridgford, Nottinghamshire, on May 23;
Bulkington Road, Wolvey, Nuneaton, on May 23;
Cranston Road, Beeston, Nottinghamshire, on May 23;
Thornehill Close, Beeston, Nottinghamshire on May 23.
They were each also charged with attempted burglary at John Street, Nuneaton, on May 23.
They were each charged with conspiring with each other to commit burglary between March 12 and May 23.
Both were also charged with aggravated vehicle taking and the 31-year-old also was charged with disqualified driving, dangerous driving and other document offences.
They appeared at Leicester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, and are due to make a further appearance on June 11.[+ go back...]
