Summer activity brochure for youngsters

The in-depth guide to ‘What’s Going Down’ this summer is a free 48-page electronic booklet published by Hinckley & Bosworth Borough Council aimed at 0-19 year-olds and is packed full of information that is sure to keep them busy during the school holidays.

There is information on reading sessions at the libraries, sports activities, arts and crafts workshops and a whole variety of different events at locations throughout the Borough. There is also a section devoted to the week-long Snapdragon Festival taking place in Hinckley during August.

Many activities are free with some costing from as little as £1.

It is also worthwhile checking with the individual venues included within the brochure to see if there are any other activities happening and to keep up-to-date with changes.

Councillor Mathew Hulbert, the Borough Council’s Children and Young People’s Champion, said:

“This document is jam-packed with fun, exciting, and educational activities and events for local children and young people to take part in.”

“It’s fantastic to see how much is being put on for children, young people and families from across the Borough. I wish them all a fun time and a fantastic summer!”
